EMBODIMENT

Inherent Embodiment speaks to what is already within each of us, waiting to be re-membered into being once more. Offering inclusive and trauma-informed weekly community yoga classes, 1:1 Yoga Therapy sessions, and seasonal workshops and gatherings, each experience is intentionally curated to connect you to the intuitive wisdom within your own body, so that you may find yourself fully present in your life, gifted with spontaneous moments of re-membrance; of yourself, in your own power; of this earth in her endless potency for healing; or, of the intimate interconnected of all that is.

We recognize that we work and play throughout the unceded territories of the Indigenous Peoples of Alaska.
We acknowledge Anchorage was built upon Dgheyay Kaq’, ancestral territories of the Dena’ina Alaska Native Peoples. We honor their past, present, and future generations by acknowledging the persistence of Indigenous worldviews throughout Alaska, promoting land back, language back, and Indigenous-led causes. We are grateful to those who have held relationship with these lands, waters, plants and creatures for millennia and to whom these spaces, places, and times will forever be homelands.

Inherent Embodiment is committed to the moral obligation to acknowledge, understand, and dismantle colonial practices and systems of oppression, to the benefit of all Alaskans.
