We Must Feel This
A collective grief practice
Saturday, March 15th, 2025 | 3:00-5:00pm
Event will be hosted at Gather - 2612 Eagle St, Anchorage, AK 99503
In this workshop with Justine Mae, we come together in community to honor our grief. Through gentle, guided breath work, the wisdom of our bodies, and the power of sharing our stories, we will learn to revere our grief as a place with the potential for deep healing.
None of us will find our way through the murky waters of grief alone. We all feel and experience grief in our lifetime, yet what we do with this grief can set the trajectory of our lives and relationships. Through somatic healing therapies, Yoga asana, breath work, and community care, we will discover what it can look and feel like to share the weight of loss, together. You don’t have to do this alone.
*Folks are encouraged to bring a small item to add to the altar and a journal and pen. Altar item may be brought home after. Dress in comfy, loose clothing with layers to take off or put on for comfort.

By rooting ourselves in self-awareness, self-discovery, and self-care, we are providing communal care. It is through this deep and intimate knowing of the self that we may truly show up for and help shape the world around us. By learning to (co)create a self-sufficient and sustainable ecosystems within, we are better able to step into our lives through ALIGNED action, writing a new story rooted in love, compassion, empowerment, self-actualization, and truth.
